I spent most of this week angry.
Not the productive kind of angry that makes you clean the house or finally call your congressman. The other kind. The kind where you’re reading through PSC filings at 11pm and your wife asks if you’re coming to bed and you say “five more minutes” and then it’s 1am and you’ve got seventeen tabs open and a legal pad full of numbers that won’t stop getting worse.
I published seven pieces this week. BGE and their delivery fees. MacStories and their AI pivot. Apple’s Creator Studio and their retail strategy. A van life YouTube channel that can’t stop being afraid of South America. A Code Switch episode about sanctuary cities that don’t actually provide sanctuary. On the surface, these have nothing to do with each other. But I’ve been thinking about why I wrote all of them in the same week, and I think it’s the same frustration wearing different clothes.
